Wanna remove a wedge out of the center back/front of your pattern but dont want to mess with the grain or the pattern?
Below is the method I use. The amount to be remove is the amount pinned out on the toile and the below is abased on a pattern with out seam allowance.
You can see the change below it doesn’t look hugely different but it does make quite a difference.
